My story.

I know what it takes to be a successful multimedia journalist in the digital age. Currently, I'm a reporter and weather anchor for Cronkite NewsWatch, a live, 30-minute broadcast on KAET-TV that reaches over 1.2 million homes in the 13th largest market. I am fully trained to not only write, shoot and edit my own packages, but I can do it under a tight deadline with the mentality to always advance the leading story.

A dean's list student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, I worked with award-winning reporters and producers in the industry to help me gain valuable insight on in-depth stories and breaking news. By landing competitive internships at ABC 15, Know99 Television, ABC 10 News in San Diego and Cronkite NewsWatch, I am comfortable reporting live during breaking news situations with professionalism and accuracy.

I've traveled across Arizona to report on issues affecting the community. During election night 2012, I reported live via satellite from Tucson, Ariz. on the Senate race. I also went undercover to expose fake drivers licenses, jewelry fraud and U.S.-Mexico border corruption.

Outside of journalism, I enjoy spending my time outdoors hiking and cycling. I also enjoy dancing ballet, hip-hop and jazz.
